There is no commitment, you can rent a room for 1-2 weeks, or 1-2 years.

What is a rooming house?

A rooming house is a house with multiple rooms, each rented out individually, in which the guests share bathroom, kitchen and other facilities.

Is there a lease?

Rooms are rented out by the week. There is no lease and no long-term commitments. This makes rooming houses ideal for low-income individuals and anyone who just moved to the area who needs an affordable and temporary place to stay.

Does the house have AC/Heat?

Yes, the house has a central HVAC system that provides both air conditioning and heat to all rooms.

How much is the rent?

Rooms have different prices based on size. Currently all rooms rent for less than $100 / week.

How many people are allowed to rent a room?

Due to local ordinances we are only able to rent a room to one person at a time. Two people may not rent or share the same room.

Are pets allowed?

No, we do not allow pets of any kind.

Can you accommodate someone with mobility issues?

Usually. each bathroom has a walk-in shower and the downstairs bathroom has a built in seat and handicap grab bar.

Is it safe?

Absolutely. We have 24 hour surveillance in the common areas as well as outside the house. Guests are able to lock their room with both a normal door lock and when leaving with a padlock on a pre-installed hasp. All common areas of the house are equipped with smoke and co2 alarms.

Can I check out the house / room before moving in?

Sure, just contact us and we will arrange to meet you and show you around.

Is smoking allowed in the house?

Yes, guest may smoke in their room and the common areas of the house.

Is a rooming house the same as a halfway/recovery house?

No. A rooming house is just a house where rooms are rented out individually. We do not provide any services people with criminal backgrounds or substance use disorder problems.
